Reiki symbols are vibrational tools used to capture, intersect, and restore cosmic primordial energy. They energetically cleanse people, places, and objects, allowing us to better perceive our physical and extra-sensory abilities.

Cho Ku Rei

The main symbol of Reiki, increasing the flow and permanence of energy. It connects to cosmic energy and can be used by Reiki practitioners from level 1. It represents the connection to the earth and can be used for protection and purification.

Sei He Ki

The second symbol of Reiki, meaning "Harmony." Its form resembles a dragon, a symbol of protection and transmutation, and it is associated with water and lunar magnetism. Found at the base of the Amida Buddha statue in the temple on Mount Kurama, where Reiki was discovered. It harmonizes emotions, transforming negative ones into positives.

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen

The third symbol of Reiki, based on Japanese kanji, means "neither past, nor present, nor future," related to the Buddhist greeting namaste. It connects to fire and solar energy, focusing on the mental body. Used to send energy across distances, it opens portals for connections beyond physical limits, allowing healing of past wounds and storing energy for the future.

Dai Koo Myo

The final Reiki symbol, known as the master symbol, means an increase in power. Originating from Japanese kanji, it aims at the treatment of the soul, freeing it from reincarnation cycles. It concentrates positive energy, linking us to the element of air and the creative force of the universe. It can be used as a protective symbol and enhances the effects of the previous symbols, taught in Reiki level 3A.
